Bob was a member of our bass section for almost 15 years and former CMC Librarian. He was at every rehearsal, worked tirelessly without ever complaining, and was always ready with his quick-witted charm to make us laugh. Bob will be missed.

Bob was one of those rare individuals who, if you could call him “friend”, your life was much richer. He was never down; never in a bad mood. Bob made us all wish we were more like him.“Drink with me and I’ll be your friend…Sing with me and I’ll be your brother.” Jack Evans, CMC President
“One not-too-long-ago spring morning (probably before a Memorial Day rehearsal), Bette & Bob strolled up to St. Philip’s, hand-in-hand, sporting Bermuda shorts and tennis shoes and big, big smiles! I remarked to them how sweet it was that, after all these years together, they still looked like 2 youngsters strolling along holding hands, in love. Bob, in his quick, loving way with that contagious smile said, ‘Or it’s to keep us from killing each other!’ I’ll never forget that.” Pam Nelson, CMC Accompanist
